Why am I always the last one to know?

I only just realized that "The Alphabet Song" is to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star." I feel like you've all been in on this secret and have been laughing at me.

Comments:
Yeah ... Just like that.

Uh, we've been laughing with you.

I never knew that, either! At least now I have an explanation for all the laughter and finger pointing going on over here.

Is now a good time to mention that "Baa Baa Black Sheep" is the same tune, too? You have to get "have you any [wool]" into the same two beats as "little [star]" or "E F [G]", but as long as you can manage a bit of two-timing (ha ha), you're golden.

It's Mozart. He wrote it. I thought for sure you had that etude during piano lessons. I know I did...

geepqls - (gee-pee-kwilz) a series of prequels to something, such as Episodes 1, 2 and 3.

Don't feel bad, I was singing both to/with my two-year-old son for many months before I figured that out.
