Note to window-dressers: Please, no scary mannequins

Some people are scared of clowns. I find mannequins to be potentially very scary. They're bad enough when they're supposed to look "lifelike."

But too often, they seem to strike death-like poses. Window-display professionals, both in the museum and clothing business should take better care.

The sad results of carelessness with mannequins.

This may be the modest beginning of my "scary mannequin" photo collection.
