The Columnist Manifesto

Yesterday I had to spike not one, but three blog posts that were comparatively funny and inoffensive in themselves yet became tasteless in light of the horrible bombing in London. I even posted one of them for about half an hour then took it down. If you saw that one yesterday, sorry -- I removed it a few minutes after I saw the headline.
